Thanks so very much to Longlands Care Farm who have lent us five Cotswold sheep. they are last year's lambs and very used to being around people. They are with us for two to three weeks while they eat off all the old and excess grass from the time the area was a pony paddock giving us space to plant new species we plan to bring in to the project. Please help keep them safe by closing gates and keeping dogs under control.
Edwin Wild
Edwin Wild is made up of residents from Edwin Ralph Village and we are pleased to share our wonderful plans with the greater community.
This exciting project will truly benefit the residents of Edwin Ralph Village, giving the community a communal place to meet neighbours and friends. Plans are to encourage the existing plants to flourish whilst adding additional planting to complement. Attention will be given to encouraging native flora and fauna, to benefitting the local wildlife habitat and with a sympathetic approach intended to have a minimum impact on the immediate environment. Fully organic planting will be of only native species. An area will be included where the residents can enjoy this shared space, appreciate our beautiful surroundings, and bring a real sense of community spirit to all.

Help us to look after the site
There are many ways that our community members can become involved, for example we would welcome any planting ideas you may have, or maybe you would enjoy becoming more involved in our planned working parties with 'hands on' help.
We are three local residents, Jane , Tracey and Dee who with our partners are working towards making a safe, peaceful community space where not only flora and fauna but also people can trive. We would be delighted to meet and hear of others in the area who would like to get involved. We are lookign for ideas, donation of (native) plants, practical help mowing and planting or just being engaged with the idea and the project.
